Niti valley is situated in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. First or you can call it among last villages of India. Niti village is situated at 3600 mts and Niti Pass is at elevation of 5800 mts. The best time to visit is May-June and October to December. Rainy seasons may be dangerous to be there as of many sliding areas in the valley. You can find homestays in the route from Joshimath to Niti. The valley is known for its scenic beauty and for wildlife with rich flora and aromatic plants.This region connects India to Tibet by Niti & Barahoti pass.     The valley is about 90 Kms from Joshimath,which is the last town in the route.
